It is said that there is no such thing as ghosts, it is just the imagination of humans, but there are many such incidents in the world that force people to think about it. Today we are going to tell you about one such railway station. There are so many stories of this railway station that even today it is lying barren. People were so scared of the incidents that happened at this railway station that even the railway employees refused to work here. It is said that the station master here had seen a witch many times. So let’s know about this Begunkodar railway station of West Bengal today.

When the station master started seeing the witch

This railway station was not always like this. In the 1960s, this railway station used to be very busy. Trains used to arrive and stop here and many passengers used to travel from here, although this did not last long. One day in 1967, the station master here talked about seeing a witch, people laughed at his words at that time. But when many people working at that station claimed this, the matter became serious.

This matter became worse when one day the bodies of the station master’s entire family were found in suspicious circumstances. People claimed that the same witch was behind this.

Railway staff was not ready to work at the station

After this day, all the railway staff of Begunkodar refused to work there. For many months, the railway tried to keep staff here, but no one wanted to work here. In such a situation, the trains coming here also stopped stopping here. This news had reached the Railway Ministry, so the Railway Ministry had to announce the closure of this station. It is said that whenever a train passed through here, the loco pilots would increase the speed of the train, while the passengers passing through here were also very scared.

Railway station reopened in 2009

This station remained closed for 42 years, which was proposed to be reopened in the 90s. Then in the year 2009, the then Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee reopened it. Currently, 10 trains stop here, although no railway staff is on duty here even now, a private firm manages it.
